Bildvorschau in Windows Vista wiederherstellen

Eine Frage die ich schon so oft bekommen habe, dass ich die Antwort endlich bloggen muss:

“Ich kann unter Vista Bilder nicht mehr öffnen. Wenn ich Bilder als Anhang bekomme muss ich sie erst speichern…”

Antwort: Vermutlich wurden die Dateizuordnungen (meist durch einen anderen Bildbetrachter) verändert.

Lösung: Alle Bilddateien wieder der Windows-Fotogalerie zuordnen.

Wie:

Im Startmenü oder in der Systemsteuerung “Standard” eingeben und den Eintrag “Standardprogramme” auswählen:

Dort unter Programme die “Windows-Fotogalerie” auswählen:

Dort entweder auf “Dieses Programm als Standard festlegen” klicken, oder ab er “Standards für dieses Programm auswählen”, wenn nicht alle Bilddateitypen mit der Windows-Fotogalerie verknüpft werden sollen.

Nun sollten alle Bilddateien wieder richtig angezeigt werden!
