Ich bin seit vielen, vielen Jahren ein riesiger PocketPC/Windows Mobile Fan. Begonnen hat alles mit einem Compaq iPaq und bei meinem aktuellen HTC Wunderwuzi ('Kaiser' aka Tytn II) gibt es fast nichts was das Ding nicht kann.

Oder doch? - Ich muss es leider zugeben: 2 Dinge entsprechen bei Windows Mobile 6.1 nicht ganz meinen Erwartungen und ich schiele immer voller Neid auf's iPhone meiner Freunde.

2. Der Browser

Gut für beides gibt es Lösungen Work-Arounds, für 1. gibt es die HTC Touch bzw. bei neueren Geräten die Touch 3D Oberfläche, für zweites nehmen viele Opera for Windows Mobile her.
Aber beides ist nicht so ganz das tolle out-of-the-box experience wie es das iPhone bietet.

Daher freut es mich, dass Microsoft die (lange und mühsame) iPhone Aufholjagd mit Windows Mobile 6.1.4 und dem Internet Explorer Mobile 6 einläutet.

Wermutstropfen: Internet Explorer Mobile 6 gibt es nur als Bestandteil von Windows Mobile 6.1.4. und das gibt es (offiziell) nur mit neuen Geräten.
